Someone called Paws 4 Hope with an elderly dog tied up, hungry and thirsty. The 12-year-old dog had a severe skin disease. He also had no teeth, was very dirty, and had not been bathed in days.
They named this sweet dog Roger and decided to take him to a nearby vet to be treated. Roger was treated for his illness, given a much needed bath, and placed in a loving foster home. He is currently being treated for anemia, intestinal parasites, and skin and ear problems.
Thanks to the love and support of rescuers, vets and foster parents, Roger has changed not only on the outside, but also on the inside.
